BIOGRAPHY

Gianluigi Gugliermetto was born in 1965 in Torino (Italy) and grew up in a small village at the foot of the Italian Alps. He studied music, philosophy, and theology in Torino. In 1999, Gianluigi moved to California following his passion for contemporary theology. He lived for a few years on Mt.Baldy amid bears and sequoias. He received his Ph.D. in Religion (Philosophy of Religion and Theology) from Claremont Graduate University in 2008.  After that, he lived in several places including Florence (Italy) and La Spezia (Italy), Graz (Austria) and Trieste (Italy).

Gianluigi taught at Victor Valley College, Woodbury University, Claremont School of Theology, and Brite Divinity School. He is an ordained priest in the Episcopal Church (Anglican Communion), and  has been the rector of Christ Church in the city of Ontario, California, from 2017 to 2023. He writes and publishes in several theological areas. He is the founder and director of  Creation Spirituality - Italy and Mistica Evolutiva www.misticaevolutiva.it
